Roosevelt was once a rescue dog. Despite his old age, his forever home family loved him as much as they would a puppy or any other dog. He only arrived at the Chicago Animal Care and Control Center last April after his previous family couldn’t take care of his medical needs.
Sarah Lauch and Kelly Michael took care of the dog despite knowing he had bone cancer and not much time to live. They officially adopted him. They also began a bucket list for him because they want him to live his life to the fullest.
He had a massage from the Chicago School of Canine Massage. He spent a day at the lake, ate some ice cream and went for a walk at The 606. This dog is living the dream!
