It’s not often you see bears swimming in America, but if ever you traveled to Russia, you may see some grizzlies trying to fish some food off the lakes.
In Lake Vygozero in Karelia, Russia, wild brown bear cabs tried to swim their way out of the lake. They tried to get up to the Russian fishermen’s boats to get to safety.
According to the fishermen, the mother of the cubs was separated from her children after she was training them to swim. She had made it to the other side of the lake while her children were drawn by the current.
The fishermen used their nets to capture the two cubs off the water and brought them to land without having a single man touch the cubs; even if they are cute, they can be deadly with their razor-sharp claws.
