Family tragedies are never a good thing. If soap operas can teach you anything, a family that lacked the parenting and bonding between family members could cause huge rifts.

But for seals, when they get lost, it’s painful because parents who should have taken care of them could not nurture them. It isn’t the parent’s fault; their instincts could tell them and introduce to them certain adversities that may make their children seem strange to them.

But for these four-week old six seal pups, humans were their parents. For the rest of their lives until their release into the ocean, humans had cared for them and had helped them return to where they belong.
